Danny was surprised to receive an invitation to attend her high school's prom night. Arthur took her to a shop in Kunjie Field where he managed to find her a rather nice dress. She had a silver pair of shoes that went with the dress, I had a little evening bag that I had never used, and Graeme had brought her a pair of silver ear rings from Ascension. Everything added up to make her look great for the night. This is my favourite photo of her.

Hannah not well
Danny and Arthur caught a bad bout of the flu (as the Saints say - they got something for nothing) and then little Hannah developed what sounded like an asthma-ish chest. She remained cheerful (which confudled one of the doctors) but eventually received the right medication, and no longer sounds like a mascovy duck when she breathes.
Here she is waiting to see her favourite doctor Deon.

Queens Jubilee Celebration
The day was a long program with one event following the other. In the morning, I had a table selling second hand books, and giving away Bibles and tracts.
I tried to dress as patriotically as possible.
Vontray won a prize for his art work. It will be displayed on the new 20p St Helenian postage stamps
At about 4pm there was a parade down main street.
The lady wearing a hat, and looking down, is Mama Lizzie - 93years old, and keeping up with the march!
