Wet and Busy

We have had almost solid rain for the past few days. We had to stand inside the dogs’ cage for our visit this morning. It has a roof, and it was raining too hard for even these Natalians to stay outside.
Did a bit of shopping. See the rack at the front of the shop. Everyone puts their shopping bags on the rack as they enter the supermarket, and then collects their bag again as they leave. No one takes anyone else’s bag. Once there was an announcement over the radio to the effect that someone had picked up the wrong grocery bag by accident, and could the owner of the groceries please contact tel no xxxx to arrange to have them returned!
1.00pm Lunch at Wellington House with the Bishop, the “fathers” and Coral Yon from the Salvation Army. Quite a motley bunch! See the front entrance to "The Wellington" I was full as a tick, but had to try and look hungry for a 3.00pm appointment for afternoon tea with Iva Henry.
Rushed off to the 2 Thursday Bible studies in Sandy Bay and Blue Hill. The roads were wet, and it was either raining or misty the whole way.

  1. Hazel you won't believe how it has been raining here too. We are soggy by now. It has been going on for months now. I have the washing in the lounge trying to get it dry. It must be nice to live and not worry about leaving your bag for a while. Stay safe on the roads my friend.
