Arthur preached today. Before leaving for Sandy Bay chapel this morning, Arthur, Danny and I were having a cup of tea/coffee. I was a bit grumpy because I haven't been feeling well lately, and I was feeling a bit sorry for myself. Arthur was in an irritatingly good mood so early in the morning.
He asked me if, despite not feeling well, I could be happy about anything this morning. I answered that I supposed that I could be glad that I was alive. Then he asked me "And for whose pleasure has God made you alive today?"....
It is such an irritating blessing when your children preach your own sermons back at you, and remind you of what is really important.
