Graeme's garden is coming alive - much to the delight of a zillion little bugs and pests. It is so disheartening to see the first little pumpkins forming, only to have them so badly stung that you have to pick them off. Anyway, the bees have found the garden, and often leave the pumpkin patch heavily laden with pollen - wish I could get a photo of the pollen covered little friends. I am sure that by the end of the year, Graeme will have learnt a lot about the ecosystem in our back yard, and that we will be the envy of a number of vegetable starved people.
We have received the good news that Rev Errol Wesson (baptist), and Bishop Joe Bell (Church of England in SA) will be paying our island a visit in the first week of April. It will be a very short visit - only one week - and the purpose of the visit is to hold evangelistic meetings. We plan on "milking" them to the limit during the few short days that they are here. Our church (and especially a few committee members) will be quite busy for the next 2 months preparing venues, and advertising and inviting people.
